EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

 
Dr. Jorelle R. Alexander received her Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Biology from Northern Illinois University in 1996. She taught in the Chicagoland area before returning to Northern where she received her Masters of Public Health in 1999. She then was the Manager of the Pediatrics Collaborative Care Program at the American Academy of Pediatrics which dealt with children’s oral and mental health. Dr. Alexander continued her education at the University Of Louisville School Of Dental Medicine where she received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May, 2007. Dr. Alexander returned to Chicago to complete her General Practice Residency at Rush University Medical Center.

Hobbies and Interests:

 
She is a member of the American Dental Association and the National Dental Association. She is also a National Health Service Corps Scholar. Her interests include underserved populations, hospital dentistry, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and oncology.
