Adult Medicine
Services are available for the care of all adult patients at both sites (MLK/Coggs). Services are provided by physicians, family nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Behavioral Health Services
Behavioral Health Services provides counseling for adults, teens, and children. Individual or group therapy sessions are available. Medication management is also available.
Depression Collaborative
MHSI and the Behavioral Health Service Center in conjunction with our Diabetes team participates in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Health Disparities Collaborative to improve the outcomes in depression and diabetes by recognizing links between trauma/chronic stress and health status for urban minorities.
Benefits Assistance
A Benefits Specialist is available to assist you with applications for General Assistance-Medical Program (GA-MP), Title 19, Presumptive Eligibility (PE) for pregnant women, Healthy Start, Badger Care, and Senior Care at our (MLK) site only
Pediatric Services (Children's Medicine)
Pediatric and newborn care is available for all children under the age of 19. Routine screenings for lead, vision/ hearing and immunizations are available.
HIV - Early Intervention Program (EIP)
The EIP program provides services to persons and families infected with HIV. Services are provided by physicians, registered nurses, and social services. Counseling/testing and medical/social services are available.
Nutrition Counseling
A Registered Dietitian is available to provide individual nutritional assessment, education, and counseling. Nutrition classes are also available.
Diabetes Collaborative
MHSI is a participant in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Health Disparities Collaborative to achieve excellence in the delivery of diabetes care
Women's Health Clinic
Services are provided by Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) and Nurse Practitioners. These nurses have special training and can manage your routine prenatal, postpartum, gynecologic care, STD treatment, counseling, and family consultations
Oral Health Services
The clinic provides comprehensive primary dental care 5 days per week. Emergency services are available during regular business hours.
WIC Program (Women's Infants & Children)
The WIC program provides supplemental food and nutrition information for pregnant mothers, breastfeeding women, infants, and children under the age of 5.
X-rays
Routine x-ray services are available at both MLK and Coggs. We also provide Mammography at the MLK site. ( For MLK / Coggs patients )
Pharmacy Services
Pharmacies serve our patients at both the MLK and Isaac Coggs sites. Located next to the main patient waiting areas, the pharmacies accept a variety of insurances and payment methods. these include GAMP, Wisconsin Medicaid, Medicare Part D, WPS and Blue Cross. Patients who do not have insurance can pay for their medication on a Sliding Scale basis. The pharmacies accept cash, checks, credit cards and debit cards.
